Backroad Flowers

Bicolor blooms. Rich red petals shift to lemon and gold hues at the petal edges. Pollenless.

1 1/2" blooms on long stems. Also known as globe amaranth and Rio Grande globe amaranth.

These 2–3½" blooms have soft burgundy outer petals that gradually lighten to creamy lime centers. A mix of fully double and semidouble flowers.

Classic sunflower colors—rich orange ray petals surround a black disk. Pollennless. Smaller Head.

A single stem, fully-double sunflower. This bright golden, pollenless cut flower matured early and impressed us with 4-5" blooms.

This giant-flowered mix includes shades of linen, icy lavender, pale pink, soft peach, and palomino. As flowers age, the lower petals often fade to turquoise dusted with lavender, giving blooms an icy metallic quality. The flower heads are dense and leathery and the backs of the petals have apple-green veining.
